ABOUT US
A Distinct Identity
New Horizons, Inc., founded in 2001, is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that exists for the sole purpose of assisting those in need. Opportunities for us to help present themselves in a myriad of ways. Therefore, rather than develop multiple specialties to address all the needs, NHI seeks out partner-organizations and individuals already working in these communities through education, medical assistance, small business development, and building community services.
Our Work
New Horizons was born out of Orv & Roberta Halley's vision
to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
with unreached people groups in the "10/40 Window."
While that emphasis has shifted slightly since Orv's passing in 2008,
NHI remains focused on partnering with individuals and organizations
whose mission is to spread the love and message of Jesus. ​
These are a few of the ways we're doing that.....
Missionary Support
From Saudi Arabia to Sweden, Taiwan to Madagascar, NHI has, through the generosity of its donors, come alongside numerous missionary couples and individuals as they serve local peoples, to share the Good News of salvation through Jesus.
Bajo Lempa, El Salvador, in partnership with YoungLife El Salvador
In January 2026, a small team will travel to El Salvador to partner with YoungLife El Salvador in the village of Bajo Lempa, located in the flood plains of the Lempa River. There, the team will help fund and build a home, an outhouse, a chicken coop, and other small but necessary projects, as well as feed and clothe the needy.
We are currently fund-raising for this venture.
